On October 2nd, the EUKICA signed an MOU with the Metropolitan Government of Daejeon in Glasgow, Scotland. In the MOU, Pascale Youn, the secretary general of EUKICA, has agreed to assist Mayor Park Sung Hyo with promoting his city in Europe. Daejeon is well renowned for its high tech industries such as information technology and bio technologies. Many SMEs in Daejeon are trying to enter the market in Europe and the city is also interested in attracting investment from Europe. Daejeon has been in search of a partner to help them overcome obstacles such as language barriers or lack of information on Europe.
