EUKICA organized an investment promotion mission for North Jeolla Province (Jeonbuk) aiming at providing EU companies interested in expanding their business in Korea with in-depth information on the Korean province.
The Investment Promotion Team had meetings from March 30 to April 3 with Spanish and Swedish companies operating in the sectors of renewable energies and high-tech parts and components industry. Korean representatives and their hosts could exchange information on the latest trends of industry development in Europe and Korea.
Jeonbuk is located in the south western part of the Peninsula, 240 km away from Seoul. It has 23 cities with over 5MM population within 1,000km in a radius. Danone, SolarWorld are among worldwide leading companies to have chosen North Jeolla Province to develop their presence in Korea.
