EUKICA assisted European companies in attending the Korean Imports Association 2009 Import Goods Fair held in Seoul from 28th to 30th of May. Sponsored by the Korean Ministry of Knowledge and Economy (MKE) with supporters including EUCCK and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MOFAT), the fair focused on household products. It provided European companies with a perfect platform to promote their products in a promising market and to identify Korean business partners. Matchmaking sessions were held so that the companies’ representatives could meet Korean consumers and importers and discuss business partnership projects. This event will undoubtedly serve as a stepping stone into the Korean market for these companies who dared to take advantage of all the opportunities this unique Korean import-centered fair has to offer.
